20 Struggles Only Working Students Understand

While some get to enjoy a carefree college experiences thanks to mommy & daddy, the rest of us have to work for our education. Anyone who works full time and goes to school full time will understand these struggles.

Don't you hate explaining to that one co-worker why going to school opens many opportunities. As oppose to their piss-poor life choices of dropping out of high school and having a kid.

It always helps to have a co-worker who is also going to school.

Balancing work and school is already hard, now try adding an internship.

Nobody notices if you were to take an extra five for school the next day. Hey its better what they are serving on campus.

F*** buying the textbook, just find a PDF version of it somewhere and download it. Because why should you spend your hard earned money on a book that probably copy & pasted its content from Wikipedia?

You don't want to be mean and call them stupid but did they even try to look online for a PDF version.

Believes your life should revolve around their class while thinking all the students are privileged. Also thinks you should quite your job and get a loan.

So rare.

15. Netflix is your only escape

With working full time and going to school full time, Netflix is your only escape from life.

16. Telling your classmate you have a job

Not all of us have mommy and daddy pay for our school. Also they seem to be shocked when you tell them about Pell Grants and FAFSA.

17. Wondering how could anyone afford to go on Spring Break

How could anyone afford such a trip when tuition is $35,000 for the semester?

18. Having to vacation on the cheap

We all need a vacation but not all of us could afford going to Miami or Las Vegas for Spring Break. Thankfully there are alternatives.

19. Studying for finals at work

Trying to practice for Finals Week while working is always a challenge.
