When Valve unveiled their Map Workshop for Counterstrike: Global Offensive, you'd expect one unhappy moment for one map creator, well it has in Canada.
Société de transport de Montreal (or STM for short) are threatening legal action against Diego Liatis who has been working on the map for nine months.
The STM says that the recreation of the Berri-UQAM station might cause panic for metro users.
Liatis requested permission with the public transport authority to recreate the station, but refused as it doesn't want its "copyrighted metro networks" to appear. The STM is seeking a 50,000 Canadian Dollar fine plus legal costs from Liatis if the map is published.
