I freaking love cooking shows. I've watched 'em all — from Beat Bobby Flay to MasterChef to Zumbo's Just Desserts. But recently, I started wondering if there's more going on behind the scenes than I realize.
If you were ever involved in a cooking competition show, whether as a member of casting, as a producer, as a contestant, or as anyone else — I wanna hear about your wildest discoveries.
Like maybe you were a contestant on Chopped and you want to come clean about the fact that the secret ingredients you were required to use weren't really a secret — instead, you were given a heads up so you knew what dish to prepare.
Or perhaps you're privy to the fact that the producers on MasterChef tell the judges which contestants to eliminate.
Maybe you were casting for The Great British Baking Show and were instructed to pick people based on how entertaining they might be rather than on their baking merit.
Whatever it is, I want to hear about it. Give me your insider deets from being on a TV cooking competition show in the comments below and they may be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post! If you'd prefer to be anonymous fill out this form instead!
