No One's Talking About How Great Fergie's New Song Is And It's A Goddamn Injustice

The new "Fergalicious."

So, everyone and their mother is talking about Taylor Swift's reputation and "Look What You Made Me Do."

Which, I'll just say upfront, I don't love. Like, I'm sure after hearing it non-stop on the radio I'll catch myself humming it to myself in the elevator and will shamefully add it to my Spotify playlist. But, for now, I'm not really a fan.

However, I am a BIG FAN of Fergie's new single, "You Already Know."

That's right, Fergie is BACK. And, I didn't know I would be so excited about it, but I really am.

Honestly, I don't even know why I'm surprised that her song is so good. Like, this is the same person who gave us the gym bop, "Fergalicious."

And "Glamorous," which was aspirational, yet relatable.

Plus, "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody," aka that jam from The Great Gatsby.

And, who could ever forget the emotional song you love to belt out, "Big Girls Don't Cry?"

Not to mention, all of the classics from when she was still a member of the Black Eyed Peas 💔.

Well, Fergie's second solo album Double Dutchess comes out next month and she's dropped not one, but TWO new singles. The first, and my personal favorite, being "You Already Know," featuring Nicki Minaj.

Then there's "Hungry," featuring Rick Ross, which is a little more hip-hoppy and less pop, but STILL GOOD.

Oh, and did I mention Double Dutchess is GOING TO BE A VISUAL ALBUM?!?!?!

That's it. I just wanted everyone to know that Fergie is officially back and better than ever. Now, pleaseeee go listen to her new songs because they deserve some goddamn recognition.

Note: While writing this post, I listened to Tay's "LWYMMD" four times and I kind of love it now. Don't judge me.
