But when it came time for them to present the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, they looked like this, and OH MY!

Why yes, they ARE dressed as their Cats characters Bustopher Jones and Jennyanydots, and yes, it IS slightly terrifying.

But also highly amusing, to be sure.

Anyway, as they were announcing the nominees, the pair low-key shaded Cats, and I legit guffawed.

And I oop! In case you didn't know, the film lost an estimated $70 million, received harsh reviews, was pulled from Oscars consideration, and received the most Razzie nominations this year.

Then they REALLY got into character and played with/attacked the mic as a cat might, and really, if anything deserved an Oscar it was this performance.
