    Help

Lets help a homeless man reunite with his family

    Help

fist came across Martin when i was on my lunch break in london

over the next few weeks i got friendly with him and he stated to tell me his story as to how he became homeless.

About 8 years ago he worked as a london bus driver and lived in london with his daughter and long time partner whom he adores,

then to try and improve his live he started a small business from home with the familys savings all sarted well enough but over the next six months or so sales dropped off and being a bloke instead of telling his family be just carried on pretending everyhing was going well but unfortunately ran up debts which he was unable to pay back to offical and unoffical lenders he tried to sell off some of the stock but was unable to raise the money needed this resulted in his very poor mental and physical health and then acute depression.

Fearing telling his family and being in such poor health he walked out of the door one day just over 4 years ago with just the clothes on his back and has been unable to return since.

All he wants to do is return home to his girls and clear his debts and start his life again.

I know his partner and daughter have been looking for him for years putting out flyers and asking other homeless people if they have seen him,But homeless people rarely disclose anything.

I have been asked by him not to inform his family or to list his picture as he is ashamed of the torment he has caused.

He is not in the best of health this is a 44 year old six foot man who weighs a little over 7 stone and suffering from cronic COPD and depression i thought i needed to try and do something to help get him back to where he belongs.

The funds would be used to pay off these debts and return him home so his health issues can be addressed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and lets hope we can do something to get him home.

    Spread the word!
