The Queen And Prince Philip Are Celebrating 69 Years Of Marriage

    What an anniversary.

While the rest of us are sitting here wondering if Netflix binges count as a relationship, Queen Elizabeth II of England and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, are celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary.

That's right. SIXTY-NINE YEARS. That is a very long time.

It's been 69 years of gazing into each other's eyes.

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in 1949 and in 2002.

Sixty-nine years of building a family.

On the left is a photo of the couple in 1951 with Charles, Prince of Wales, and Anne, Princess Royal. On the right is a photo of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh from 2007 with Prince Charles; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; Princess Anne; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

And 69 years of doing the royal wave.

The couple in 1953 and in 2011.

    You guys, true love exists.

And if you cry at this photo, I'll totally understand.

Because 69 years of being married to one person is quite the accomplishment.
