Half Time Couldn’t Get Any Better

Wednesday night’s game got exciting as the Pelican game fans got more than what they had asked for. Celebrity sightings are not a rare sight in Hollywood South, but this sighting was not an ordinary one.

The crowd roared with cheers as Will Ferrell, apparently drunken, made his way to the court during the half time as he stumbled in the way. It was not just Ferrell who was spotted at the scene, Mark Wahlberg and Linda Cardellini were also spotted sitting in the crowd.

However the co-stars from “The Other Guys” Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell not only appeared during the halftime break of the game but they also took the liberty of casting the entire audience of the game as extras in their upcoming comedy movie “ Daddy’s Home”. Yes it was a movie shoot.

The movie is being directed by Sean Anders; mostly know for his work in the “Horrible bosses 2”. Ferrell, in the movie, plays a role of an executive who marries a widow and a mother of two, Cardellini. The plot gets interesting when the kid’s dad, Wahlberg, comes back unexpectedly.

It was an interesting night for the fans of the game those who not only witnessed live Hollywood shooting, but also got to play a handy cameo.

Amongst the crowd was the Metairie family as well. They had previously offered their premises to the film crew which took over two weeks to build a garage which had to be used in the movie.

The house hosted the shooting crew for 4 days after it had been prepared. Ferrell and Mark were so used to the place that they called it home.
