By now I'm sure you're familiar with the concept of a "nice guy," but if you aren't, let me fill you in. Nice guys are men who think they're automatically entitled to women's attention and time. Why? Because they show basic politeness and are just soooo nice! It's pretty annoying and gross.
Nice guys have been around for as long as I can remember, but I hoped they were slowly becoming a thing of the past now that we as a society are calling them out more. NOPE. Here are 15 screenshots from the r/niceguys subreddit that prove they're (unfortunately) still alive and well in 2023:
.This nice guy who thinks he deserves a girlfriend because he *checks notes* opens doors for women:
.This nice guy who violated a patient's privacy and then threatened her when she (rightfully) told him off:
.This nice guy who decided to "stop caring" about women because they have the audacity to sleep with someone other than him:
.This nice guy who wrote an offensive rant about why he thinks he's owed sex:
.This nice guy who (somehow) got a girlfriend and then had the gall to slut-shame her:
.This nice guy who's "actually way too nice sometimes" even though he shamelessly asks for nudes:
.This nice guy who's looking for a longterm partner, but probably won't find one with this dating app bio:
.This nice guy who swore up and down that him objectifying a woman was a "positive thing":
.This nice guy who brought his whiny story to the masses and got a swift dose of reality:
.This "super rare" nice guy who spiraled after he didn't get a text back:
.This nice guy who's convinced he's simply too smart to attract a partner:
.This nice guy who conveniently decided to blame a woman for all the dating issues he's had since he was 12:
.This nice guy genuinely thinks women "don't bring anything to the table":
.This nice guy who expects his future partner to be "non-argumentative," among other things:
.And finally, this nice guy who preaches being "a gentleman at all times," but still pulled this disgusting move:
