According To This Robot, Afghanistan Is Going To Win The Cricket World Cup

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T LET THE ROBOTS TAKE OVER.

The University of Canterbury's resident robot, Ikram, just predicted that Afghanistan will win the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Not to be a buzzkill, but Afghanistan are relative newcomers as far as the Cricket World Cup is concerned.

The national team was formed only in 2001, and this is their first appearance in the ODI World Cup.

Just for a little perspective, here are the current odds on Afghanistan lifting the Cricket World Cup, according to this betting website.

Afghanistan's chances of a World Cup triumph in their first appearance is 1000/1.

Football fans will remember Paul the Octopus, who correctly predicted the results of the 2010 World Cup.

He even predicted that Spain would beat Netherlands in the finals.

But this prediction by Ikram seems just a bit too far-fetched.
