NAFS, a new band founded by A.R. Rahman, just dropped a trippy remake of "Ghanan Ghanan", the popular song from 2001's Lagaan.

Rahman stated on his YouTube channel that the word "nafs" means "free will to make your own choice" in Urdu and Arabic.

The band, with throbbing vocal rhythms and bass, is part of Rahman's initiative to promote Indian talent internationally through original and creative acts.
