On Thursday, June 23rd, the United Kingdom gave its citizens a choice to stay or remain in the European Union through a national vote.
By Friday morning, we learned to much surprise that the vote favored leaving the EU.
Of course, some people were ecstatic.
However, those in favor of remaining were outraged.
Many worried about the future economic toll it could have.
And what about the United Kingdom's international relations?
Americans had their share of opinions too.
The positive and negative developments from this decision are sure to be felt for days, months, and even years to come. We will just have to wait and see.
And in the event the United Kingdom should rejoin the European Union, you already have a song to celebrate.
