This Is Why Beautifully Painted Postraits Of Women Were Torn Down
Recently, on three different walls in Dhaka, Bangladesh, there were faces of women painted and then, right after, parts of the walls were broken in front of confused and curious crowds of pedestrians. The paintings contained the message, "You can mend this wall, but not her wound". This was done by Radio Shadhin for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
