It helps a lot.

I need to know what happens next!

8. ...you begin to think that your friends resemble FanFiction characters.

...you have over a hundred stories in your mind, yet you have too few in FanFiction.

*gasp*

9. ...you're bored, so you start re-reading all your favorite stories.
