Gordon Ramsay Is In A Show Where People Cut Up Vegetables And It's Bizarre

And there is really thrilling music.

There's this new show on ITV called Culinary Genius where the music is stressful and the tension is WILD.

So there's a TV show consisting of challenges where contestants competitively cut tomatoes.

And it is a challenge in a TV show that lasts...

    For an entire 15 minutes.

I can't even begin to describe to you the tension and the music when judge Rosemary Shrager said this about the tomato challenge.

The show also has the weirdest catchphrase.

And, you know what, in one THRILLING cucumber cutting challenge this did actually happen.

Each week there is a different judge, the first week being Gordon Ramsay. And there's some really weird Q&A between the judge and the host, Fern Britton.

The thing is though, even though the challenges might sound absurd, people do make terrible mistakes with the chopping and not all of them get it right.

Three people leave the first round: the GIF below is what happened when they left the show because they cut a cabbage badly.

The other challenges are harder: in one episode the next challenge was to cut and prepare a lobster correctly, in another a guinea fowl.

Still this is never not weird.

So let's work this out together.

    Thanks for reading this article.

Culinary Genius continues weekdays on ITV at 3pm in the UK and you can catch up on ITV Hub.
