12 Questions That Won't Be Ever Be Answered In "Broadchurch"

    Such as: Why do they always meet on the beach? Note: This post contains spoilers.

    Broadchurch can be a really gripping show, but there are some questions that need to be answered.

    1. Why does everyone have such good phone signal?

    Truth: When you call near the coast either you have no signal, or the person you are ringing has no signal.

    2. Why do all of the characters meet up on on the beach to talk about the latest plot developments?

    3. Why does everyone have such old phones?

    4. Why does *everyone* have a complicated past?

    The only straightforward character was the policeman who only drank tea and ate biscuits the whole time.

    5. What did he do but drink tea and eat biscuits?

    This was literally the only thing he ever said.

    Correction: He once ate toast in the kitchen.

    6. Why are there no other people in this town?

    Literally. 12. People. Live. In. This. Town.

    7. And if no other people live there, why is there a local newspaper proudly serving a town of 12 people?

    8. And why does everyone watch ITV News?

    9. I mean, ITV News is GREAT, but have all of the characters lost the remote or something?

    10. Also, Susan Wright (Pauline Quirke) was in the first series but weirdly she's not there in series two.

    Who is paying for the caravan's electricity bill?

    11. And why is the music throughout really tense?
