1. Your future plans have always included each other.
2. Touring your future college together included y'all planning where your hangout spots would be.
3. Fourth bench from the fountain in 10 minutes? Definitely.
4. That moment when you both tackle each other in excitement when getting into yall's dream school together.
5. They are always that slice of home when you become homesick.
6. They are also always that ride home you'll need.
7. They know everything that makes you well, you.
8. Including your embarrassing younger years. Let's not go there.
9. They also know your limits, since you never seem to know them yourself.
10. They have a say in all your relationships.
11. Mainly because they had to suffer through all your exes right along with you.
12. Their new college friends become your new college friends and vice versa.
13. Bottom line, double the new friends.
14. But people still expect to see them 5 steps behind you wherever you go.
15. You can't help it that y'all are inseparable.
16. They are there to remind you of your past. And that's not a bad thing.
17. Yes they are there during the school year, but you also have them with you during the summer. Which is when you need them the most.
18. Best friend dates keep you sane throughout the year. Cherish them.
19. Whenever something happens in your hometown, they are the first person you call.
20. They are also the only person who actually knows who/what you're talking about.
21. When you feel like being a kid again, you turn to each other.
22. Because no one knows your childhood like them.
23. They will put you in your place so fast you won't see it coming.
24. It may sting a bit, but it's for your own good. Trust me.
25. Even through major blowouts of "I hate yous" or "I'll never get over this," after a few days you go running back to each other with arms open screaming "I'M SO SORRY" at each other.
26. If no one wants to do anything you always have them to rely on.
27. Mainly because they can never say no to you.
28. Scary movie night tonight even though I know you hate them?
29. And the poor soul says yes because they love you.
30, They call your parents by their first names like they are BFFs.
31. They also have them on speed dial which can or cannot be a good thing.
32. People wonder if you actually have any other friends at college since you're both always in each other's stories. Which is definitely not a bad thing.
33. Nothing compares to their hugs when you're sad. They are magical.
34. Reminiscing on the good ole days makes you appreciate where you are now.
35. People say you'll never remain best friends when you go to college, but here you are stronger than ever and proving everyone wrong.
