Hannah was very pale as a child, so people would call her "Ghost."

Crystal hated that kids took something she loved and made it into a mean label.

Edgar was called "Venom," a comic book villain, as a mean jab at his appearance.

Emma was called ugly so much from age 11-17 that it made her life "miserable."

Being called names might not seem like THAT big of a deal, but they had long-lasting effects.

For Emma, the teasing and bullying escalated to a physical level.

Recalling those memories was still kinda painful.

So when they got the chance to SMASH the mean nicknames they had been given?

Edgar felt like he was finally letting go of something.

Crystal felt ownership over her love for Star Trek again.

And Emma? Emma just smiled and smiled.

It was a beautiful way to process and release some of the feelings of being called those annoying and mean names.
