Britain is a great country, We're home to J K Rowling, fish and chips, The Beatles and deep-fried mars bars (don't ever leave us, Scotland), Our nights out, however, can leave a lot to be desired, Whilst we all love a night on the tiles that begins with an overapplication of St Moritz and ends with a slap-up meal of cheesy chips with gravy, it's the bit inbetween that grinds our gears.

In fact, a third of Brits have had a barney with a bouncer - including nearly half of all men. Rude and aggressive behaviour from door staff is the biggest issue, followed by strict dress codes in bars. Apparently it's not okay to turn up to a club in pyjamas nowadays - who knew!

In a bid to challenge our night out nasties, Monkey Shoulder is launching Neave’s Pop-Down Bar, a pop-up bar with a big difference. It takes all of Brits’ night out pet hates and turns them on their head.

Neave’s Pop Down is open until the 26th July in Ely’s Yard at The Old Truman Brewery, Hanbury Street, London E1 6QR and entry is free.
