The Progression Of A Relationship

Relationships tend to start out with a lot of passion, getting to know each other, and making the best first impressions. As the relationship grows, however, couples become extremely comfortable and get to know each other all too well.

At the start of the relationship, you liked to look good while eating...

...after a while though, you just don't care. You eat whatever you want, when you want, no matter how sloppy you look.

Early on, when you needed to do your business, the door stayed closed.

Now you can expect conversations while peeing.

During those first sleepovers you may have gone to bed with your make-up on so your flaws were well-hidden.

After you get comfortable with each other, you'll start waking up looking something like this.

When it was "that time of the month" you would throw out generic excuses for why you didn't feel well.

But now you're just too honest.

Your conversations started out with random small talk...

...and now they are filled with deep, meaningful conversations that can last for hours.

When you first started dating, you wanted to look good and maybe even sucked in your stomach after a large meal.

Give it some time and you'll let all that shiz hang out like it's nobody's business.

In the beginning you had manners.

Those have disappeared.

When you first met his parents it was exciting.

But then you really get to know them and you're just over their drama.

Your date nights probably started out like this.

And over time end up looking something like this.

In the beginning, your arguments and fights were pretty mild and tame.

But as love and passion grow, so does the intensity of your quarrels.

But in the end it's all worth it...

...because even if your date nights may have less make-out sessions, your fights may be more intense, and all of your privacy is thrown out the window...

...you've got a best friend who thinks the world of you...
