I'm embarrassingly stereotypically girly, so when I got the My Little Pony Purple #GlitterMask Gravitymud by GlamGlow, the eight-year-old Limited Too-addicted girl in me leaped for joy! I don't even do masks that often because my K-Beauty skin care routine is already so extensive, but this mask was purple and glittery, so I gave it a whirl. I stirred the mask with the mini spatula applicator it comes with and then spread it on my face, like the instructions advised. Then I let it dry, which took about 20 minutes, and took a lot of selfies while bumping Janelle Monae's Dirty Computer album. When it dried, I peeled it off, starting at an edge near my chin that was already lifting. If you thought peeling masks was satisfying before, wait until you peel a GLITTER mask. It's practically skin care meets DIY meets Frida Kahlo painting; it's ART, people!

The benefits claim to firm, like the original Gravitymud treatment, and my skin did feel cleaner and tighter after. Anyone near and far knows my favorite type of makeup is lipstick, and my formula of choice is hands down liquid, because they last longer and don't smear as much while you're eating or just going about your day. Ever since I discovered Peripera Peri Ink (read my review), I've been wearing lip stains pretty constantly — another fave is Etude House Dear My Darling Tint (read my coworker's review) — because they're less drying, but those shade ranges don't cover the plum-y berry I was craving. So I hopped onto Sephora popped three choices into my cart that differed a bit in both shade and texture. The YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Violet Conviction was the clear winner, whose color is described as a "deep blackberry." Yum.

This baby has a watery formula that dries down matte, so it's more like a tint in nature than lipstick, BUT the pigment is opaque, which is important because I still want it to *look* like a lipstick. It feels practically weightless on the lips, which is clutch to say the least. My lips are perpetually dry, so I hate lipsticks that settle into my lines and make their presence known — but no issues here at all. It also has a flat but slanted-at-the-top applicator, aka the perfect fit for the cupid's bow, which sometimes gets tricky with normal doe applicators. It requires minimal touchups (really only after I eat something SUPER oily). And it has a sweet berry scent too! It's the perfect not-too-dark but still ever-so-slightly vampy shade. It's quickly become my everyday color over brighter, so-called spring or summer shades.
