    @cosrx / Via, Soko Glam

    Promising review: "These pads are great! They clean away excess oil without drying out my skin. My skin feels clean, soft, and looks glowy afterwards. The pads are gentle on the skin but take care of blemishes. I used to have small, little bumps on my forehead and these pads have reduced them and cleared them up. Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2X contains real Jeju Island volcanic clusters (in fact, it has twice the amount of volcanic ash as the original formula!) that use their naturally porous features to absorb all that excess oil/sebum production and lactic acid to exfoliate and help make any unwanted, bumpy texture disappear.

    Promising review: "This is the only mask I have ever used where I noticed a difference in my skin after taking it off. Not only does it make your skin soft, but it removes all of the texture from your skin. Obviously it won't remove acne, but it removed the small bumps I would get on my face. It also relaxes me and leaves my skin glowing. I will always keep these stacked at home." —cansucyyc

    Get it from Sephora for $15.

    3. Original Mighty Patches and Micropoint Mighty Patches protect any budding whitehead or pimple situations from, well, you (stop picking and popping!), and its hydrocolloid material draws out impurities, so your blemishes heal and get smaller/flatter faster than ever before.

    @herocosmetics / Via, @herocosmetics / Via

    Promising review (for the original patches): "I'm so bad about picking at little spots on my face (always makes it worse but I always do it anyway). Putting a patch on any spot I have clears it up so much faster and keeps me from making things worse." —acp_

    Get them from Free People: a 36-pack of original patches for $13 or a six-pack of Micropoint patches for $13

    4. Then I Met You Calming Tide feels ~light as air~, but its impact is anything but! It's packed with skin-firming peptides (from TIMY's signature Tri-Tide Complex), fortifying ceramides, hydration-retaining sodium hylauronate and niacinamide, and madescassoside (which is derived from the centella asiatic plant we all love).

    @thenimetyou / Via

    I'm obsessed with this moisturizer. It's surprising that one lil' blob (I'm very scientific with my terms) can provide so much hydration for my whole face. My skin drinks it up and becomes ever slightly more plump post-application. "Light as air" isn't an exaggeration. An

    Promising review: "First off, this packaging is BEAUTIFUL. So chic for my skincare setup, and will be so nice to travel with. I have super dry skin, but love the feeling of gel creams over heavy moisturizers. This has amazing ingredients for dry skin like hyaluronic acid, peptides, and ceramides. It applies so smooth, and is not sticky at all. I will definitely be using this as my daily moisturizer, as working from home is a great time to try it out." —Regina

    Get it from Then I Met You for $42.

    5. Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream feels barely there on skin (more akin to a super lightweight moisturizer) and soothing from the very first point of contact — hello, aloe leaf extract, African walnut oil, and bamboo extracts! It gives your skin a healthy glow, while arming your face with SPF 50+, never leaves a white cast, and sits beautifully under makeup.

    Soko Glam

    It's also free of artificial colors, animal products, parabens, and mineral oil.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $23.

    6. Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Gel Cream is unbelievably lightweight and smoothes away any lingering redness I have on my face (due to diet, lack of sleep, stress, etc.), so my face appears visibly soothed, hydrated, and ready for a restoring night of sleep or day of makeup and activities!

    Sephora, Sarah Han / BuzzFeed

    While the Color Correcting Treatment (below) is probably better for concealing heavier redness, I find that this gel cream also blurs any redness I have without feeling heavy, sticky, or taking a long time to absorb. I get redness around my nose and sometimes scattered on my cheeks, so this is a quick fix — and since it's a lot lighter than the treatment and hydrating enough for my skin type, I've been applying it day *and* night.

    Promising review: "I haven't really found something that calms redness but also doesn't make me break out from being too heavy, and then I got a sample of this with an order and was pretty happy with it. My skin was super soft, stayed clear, and looked slightly less red. Then, I went on vacation to New Hampshire. I spent four and a half hours hiking in 20-degree windy weather with snow and ice blowing in my face. My skin was bright red and stung from windburn. I put some of this on after I showered, and then a little more before I went to bed. After the first time I put it on my face, it no longer stung, and by morning, my skin wasn't red at all. Normally I would be red for a few days and then peeling afterwards. I am definitely going to purchase a full size of this, and I think it will be really helpful for the New England winter and beyond." —cayjay

    Get it from Sephora for $48.

    7. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment instantly calms down rogue redness with color-changing capsules that blend into your skin tone, protect against UV light (SPF 30) and environmental aggressors, and boost fatigued-looking skin — one and done!

    @drjart / Via, BuzzFeed / Elizabeth Lilly / Via

    If you feel like going sans makeup, you can simply wear this alone! Since it minimizes blemishes, scars, and redness, it's a great alternative to BB cream or foundation~

    Promising review: "My face is pretty much always red for some reason. I also have some acne scars that are healing ever since I started seeing a dermatologist. This stuff is AMAZING. It really does neutralize all of my redness and scars. I haven't really worn makeup since I started using this stuff. Makes your skin hydrated and flawless!" —kt1709

    Get it from Sephora for $52.

    8. Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam makes your face feel like it's being cuddled by a cloud, thanks to the rich lather it produces. It's formulated with unique botanical ingredients like duckweed and chestnut shell extracts to remove dead skin cells with overstimulating their skin, simply leaving behind smooth and supple skin!

    Promising review: "Love this product! I was using Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel and it did a good job, but I always felt like my skin needed more. Being an oily/combo girl, I was afraid of trying Korean skincare since they tend to be very hydrating (ex: glass skin would be too much for me), but I am so glad I tried it. I love it and I will definitely be purchasing again." —kelly1021

    Get it from Sephora or Nordstrom for $38.

    9. Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask and Eye Mask wrap extra dry skin in a nourishing blanket of deeply hydrating and soothing avocado oil, kaolin clay, and PHA (a super gentle exfoliator that's easier on the skin than AHA and BHA), so your skin gets the softening re-up it needs while you're snoozing away.

    Glow Recipe, @glowrecipe / Via

    It's mostly meant to be used as a sleeping mask, but if it's a little too thick for your skin to absorb, it also works great as a 10 minute wash-off mask!

    Promising review: "I've had this for a week now, and it's just so much better than all the other eye creams I've tried. I use it only at night and I wake up in the morning to the softest under eyes I've ever had. I've never had particularly dry under eyes, so I can't speak to how it would work for someone who does, but for my normal/combo skin, this is wonderful." —hlittle87

    Get the face mask from Sephora for $49 and eye mask for $42.

    10. Re:p Bio Fresh Mask is like a cup of invigorating tea for your face — it helps firm and brighten skin, thanks to a formula that contains crushed rosemary and peppermint, on top of many other natural extracts, oils, and kaolin clay. P.S. All re:p products are clean, sustainable, and designed for sensitive skin types!

    Soko Glam

    Promising review: "Don’t think I will ever use another mask again! I have extremely sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts, so I'm always scared to try a new mask — but I’m glad I took a chance on this one. It's so smooth, a little goes a long way, and it feels absolutely amazing on my skin. No burning sensation either! I do a full face with it twice a week, but if I notice any dry patches in between my mask days, I’ll put a little bit of the mask on just those spots for about five minutes, and by the next morning I’m good as new. Simply amazing, I wish I had known about this amazing product in my early twenties — it would have saved me a lot of time and tears." —Kathleen H.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $32.

    Soko Glam

    Promising review: "I’m hooked! Within two weeks I noticed changes to my dry skin (dry skin is NOT dehydrated skin — big difference!) that I’ve never experienced with other products. My face is now plumper and healthy-looking, as opposed to sunken and dull. I think it’s safe to say I have a more youthful appearance and glow. Major shoutout to my new favorite product!" —Tara H.

    Get it from Nordstrom for $40.

Belif Aqua Bomb has a ridiculously satisfying ~water burst~ formula, which means its gel texture disperses into water droplets you can feel as it's being rubbed into your skin — and alongside a blend of apothecary herbs, it calms down normal, oily, and combination skin types and smooths everything over without leaving any residue or unnecessarily heavy texture behind.

    @belifusa / Via, @belifusa / Via

    Promising review: "I absolutely love this! I've been using it I think for almost three years now and do not plan on changing it anytime soon. I used to live in Boston, which meant I needed a super-hydrating product to survive the winter, but I truly cannot stand oily and heavy creams (plus they tend to break me out). It felt super light and refreshing, but still sooo hydrating! I have since moved to Panama, which is the complete opposite in terms of weather, and I still love this product since its lightweight texture is perfect for the extreme humidity we have here." —ngade29

    Get it from Sephora for $22+ (available in mini and full sizes).

    The Aqua Bomb line also includes a sleeping mask and mist.

    16. After 10 to 15 minutes, say hello to baby-soft skin.

    Soko Glam

    Promising review: "This face mask has become a regular part of my routine. It doesn’t exasperate my acne, exfoliates flaky skin away, and leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized. For how inexpensive this mask is and how long it lasts (my sister and I both use it once to twice a week and it lasts over a month), it’s a steal. Also, it smells amazing and since I can leave it on for quite a while — I know the instructions say 10-15 minutes, but I usually end up leaving it on for 45-60 minutes without adverse side effects — I find it to be a perfect mask for when I need a little self-care." —Redwin D.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $10.

    17. Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer combines two steps in one by prepping and softening your skin like a toner, and moisturizing like a cream — so all that you're left with is super hydrated skin. Think of it as a product with all the benefits of a rich moisturizer with the texture of a lightweight toner!

    @sephora / Via, Sephora

    Promising review: "This toner is seriously SOOO hydrating and lovely. It feels a bit sticky upon application, but once you layer on your other skincare items, it absorbs nicely into your skin. I have combo skin (an oily T-zone, but prone to extreme dryness as well), and this toner helped me get rid of that tight, dried-out skin feeling! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a hydrating, absorbant product. For those with less problematic skin, this toner can even double as a essence or light moisturizer." —Tongxue

    Get it from Sephora for $33 (also available in a limited-edition mini size for $15).

    FYI, magnesium and potassium are power ingredients when it comes to restoring your skin’s hydration, as well as calming and re-balancing irritated and inflamed skin caused by external stressors.

    Get it from Sephora or Glow Recipe for $39.

    Daily Dew Hydrating Essence Mist: a double-tasking toner and essence that helps deliver moisture over and under makeup

    Promising review: "I wasn't expecting to like this at all, but I have come back for a repurchase of this kit! First and foremost, I love the moisturizer — it's hydrating without feeling heavy or sticky on my face. Same goes for the eye cream. I was very surprised by the peel. I've seen a ton of these types of peels and they always seem gimmicky and silly, but I sure was wrong! My skin was baby soft and clean feeling after using it. The mist is a nice little refresh — I'll admit not essential to my routine, but it's enjoyable." —Omletta

    Get it from Sephora for $39 (valued at $69).

    20. Then I Met You Birch Milk Refining Toner proves that acid-containing products can absolutely be hydrating and gentle. I'm all for exfoliating away the bad stuff, but only if it also *locks in the good stuff (think: high levels of hydrations and moisture retention) at the same time — and this toner does just that and restores my post-cleanser skin!

    Soko Glam

    I personally use this toner and the texture is my favorite part. It's hard to describe, but I can tell it's not just *sitting on top* of my skin — it's penetrating deeper to refine my skin texture. And to be more specific, this product contains 76% birch juice, which helps skin retain moisture, on top of squalane, marshmallow root extract, and a 1% concentration of AHAs and PHAs — so it's definitely safe for everyday use!

    Promising review: "TBH I’ve never gotten the hype around toners, although I use them religiously. This one, though, has brought my skin an internal glow that wasn’t there before. 100% repurchasing, and telling everyone and their dog about this and how well it handles my hormonal acne." —Elizabeth C.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $32. It was made to be used in conjunction with The Giving Essence.

    21. Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream provides both immediate and long-term moisture that has the right amount of ~richness~ but doesn't feel like it's clogging up your skin — thanks to a nourishing and skin-cell-and-barrier-strengthening combination of yeast-derived beta glucan, jojoba oil, and ceramides.

    @klairs global / Via

    Promising review: "I have very dry and sensitive skin. This is my favorite moisturizer by far. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, it's easily absorbed, and it actually leaves my skin feeling moisturized throughout the day." —Jessica K.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $23.

    22. Cosrx Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream, with continued use, visibly brightens your under-eye areas, diminishes puffiness, and douses any dry patches with much-needed moisture, thanks to a formula of 72% snail secretion filtrate, five types of peptides, and niacinamide. It's the perfect wake-up call for your tired peepers.

    @cosrx / Via

    This winter was the first time I experienced a drier-than-usual eyelid (yes, just one). It was all patchy and I'd even wake up to a slightly discolored/pink eyelid, but I swear this reformulated snail eye cream helped my patchy eyelid heal just as well as the prescription cream I got from the dermatologist — and it was much gentler and didn't sting at all during the first application. It seems thick, but absorbs super quickly. It's a dream!

    Get it from Dermstore for $28.

    23. Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water goes beyond the call of your typical lazy-day makeup remover, because it's made up of 70% tea tree leaf water, which we know fights acne and keeps excess sebum in check — use it as an extra cleansing step or toner, and then say hello to refreshed skin!

    Soko Glam

    Promising review: "I refuse to be without this. I once even took a travel-sized version on a three-week trip to Japan in my carry-on. It helps keep my skin clear, uncongested, and while it is simple, it is so great for my sensitive skin and doesn't have any annoying stinging. I use it as a second or almost third cleanse, as well as a toner, and I swear by it." —Christine S.

    Get it from Soko Glam for $17.

    24. Laneige Calming Mousse Moisturizer ~whips~ up a gentle layer of deep sea water and lychee extract infused moisture that'll feel like a real treat for stressed skin and sit just right underneath makeup for an lit-from-within glow.

    Promising review: "This is everything. I'm 26 and have struggled for 10 years to find a moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my skin and cause acne. I finally had some luck with Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask three years ago and have loved it ever since. However, I recently saw this product and was willing to give it a shot, and I am SO glad I did. It calms my skin, reduces redness, moisturizes, and seems to change the texture of my skin as a whole — my boyfriend even commented on it the first night I used this — all without causing any irritation or breakouts! I use this every night, allow it to dry down a bit, and then apply the Water Sleeping Mask and their lip mask. When I wake up my skin is clear, dewy, and plump. Please don’t ever discontinue these products, Laneige! Can’t wait to try their calming toner next!" —Ashnikk

    Get it from Sephora for $29.

    @sweetchefskincare / Via

    I've been using it a lot during the winter, since my overly warm and dry apartment feels like it's sucking the life out of me, as well as to set my makeup, since I like that ~dewy~ lewk.

    Promising review: "I love this mist. It soaks into my skin almost immediately. My skin just feels like it’s glowing." —Maria D.

    Get it from Target for $17.

    26. Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum is paaaacked with vitamin C and therefore helps brighten your skin tone over time, fade brown spots, and prevent further pigmentation from ruining the glow party that's scheduled for your-face-o'-clock.

    Urban Outfitters

    Important: Make sure to store it away from sunlight in a cool place, like your fridge! It's natural for Vitamin C to have discoloration and turn yellow — if it's a light yellow it'll still be effective, but if it turns dark yellow then it won't be as usable.

    Promising review: "Feels like an oil when you put it on. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and it definitely helps fade scars. I even have some acne scars on my chest and it helped fade those! I don’t use it every day in case it irritates my skin but I definitely recommend this even if you’re new to vitamin C." —empresslauren

    Get it from Urban Outfitters for $23.

    27. Huxley Brightly Ever After Essence lets you drip, drip, drip your way to dewy and luminous skin, by way of antioxidant-rich, pollution-fighting ingredients like prickly pear seed oil and cactus extract sourced from the Sahara.

    @huxley_global / Via

    What else? Niacinamide is a power ingredient when it comes to brightening skin tone and glutathione and bisabolol help detoxify skin. Oh, and it's formulated without parabens, mineral oils or synthetic dyes — because we shouldn't have to worry about those ever.

    Get it from Revolve for $58.

    28. Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence is worth every penny, because its handpicked green tea leaves are grown in one of their gardens on Jeju Island, naturally fermented for 50 days, and then transferred by tea masters and placed into onggis (traditional Korean earthware that are buried underground) to age for another 50 days — it's the luxury your face deserves.

    Promising review: "This is one of my all-time-favorite, can't-live-without products. I've been using it for about six months and I've noticed such a difference in the hydration and health of my skin. I used to battle with very dry, flaky skin and since I've been using this, my skin is smooth and glowing. It's a very light essence, but works wonders! If I take a break from using this, I definitely notice a difference in the hydration of my skin. I use it like a serum in the morning after cleansing. A little goes a long way, so this is a great value when you consider how long it lasts and how little is needed." —canyongirl

    Get it from Sephora or Nordstrom for $95+ (available in three sizes).

    29. Innisfree Youth-Enriched Cream With Orchid envelops skin with a loving blanket of naturally derived hyaluronic acid (from Jeju green soybeans!), peptides, and Orchidelixir 2.0, which extracts actives from every part of the Jeju Orchid (a super resilient plant that even blooms during the winter!) to form a product that gives ya glow and even addresses early signs of mature skin.

    Promising review: "This cream is great. I use it before bed and when I wake up my skin feels bouncy. I have oil-prone skin and I love that this product moisturizes me but doesn’t leave my skin oily. I love the smell! It is very light and floral smelling and it relaxes me before bed. I also put on a little in the morning. My skin feels so fresh and renewed after using it." —nataliapumpkin

    Get it from Sephora for $29 (also available in a gel-cream version).

    30. Sweet Chef Lip Sleeping Mask ensures your pout stays as smooth and soft as a baby's bum, thanks to antioxidant-rich and natural-AHA-filled sugarcane, rice brain (a clean alternative to petrolatum), and moisturizing vitamin E.

    Promising review: "Amazing for winter! I live in northeast Ohio, and believe me when I say that my skin SUFFERS during the winters here, and that includes my lips, to a point where it can be painful! Vaseline and Aquaphor help relieve the pain, but do very little for long term hydration and I still wake up with chapped, dried out lips, but not anymore! This stuff is AMAZING. It’s both hydrating and nourishing, so it helps relieve dryness immediately, but keeps your lips soft and supple long term!" —Grace G.

    Get it from Target for $14.99.
