1. Superiority Burger

After the success of his veggie burger pop-up shops, Brooks Headley has finally opened a Superiority Burger location in the East Village. Make sure to try their Superiority Burger, Superiority Wrap, or their Sloppy Joe! You'll never find another veggie burger quite like it.

2. Seamore's NYC

Michael Chernow, owner of the successful Meatball Shop chain, has opened this amazeballs restaurant in Little Italy. Head over to Seamore's for great seafood dishes with a twist. Make sure to try their Crispy Fish or Spicy Squid tacos, or their Oh-Boy Sandwich! Ok, drooling.

This well-known sushi restaurant now has a location right in the city! Whether you are there for their legendary food or the restaurant's relaxing vibe, you are sure to have a good time! Make sure to try one of their two tasting menus: the $185 Omakase menu or the $245 Okii Ringo menu!

4. Babu Ji NYC

After creating three successful Australian restaurants, Jessi and Jennifer Singh are trying their hand at Indian cuisine. Babu Ji is said to be "not your typical Indian Joint", using the best ingredients and spices to create amazing dishes. Make sure to try their Papadi Chaat, Samosa Burger, or Lamb Rogan Josh! Don't forget to hit the ATM before you eat, Babu Ji is cash only.

5. Fuku

David Chang's megahit chicken sandwich shop has only been open for a month, and already it is turning heads! Fuku, which means "lucky", is Chang's take on an American classic. There are only three things on the menu (Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, Fries, and the Fuku Salad), but each is well-renowned for being absolutely delicious! Make sure not to leave your plastic at home, because Fuku is credit card only!

6. The Ribbon

With Blue Ribbon restaurant locations in New York, Vegas, and London, owners Bruce and Eric Bromberg created The Ribbon to be an unique experience for their customers. The Ribbon is said to provide "an authentic everyday experience for a casual dinner as well as a special occasion destination". Make sure to try their Vegetable Risotto or their Half Amish Chicken!

7. The Clocktower

Well-known British chef Jason Atherton, and restauranteur Stephen Starr team up to bring quality food to the Edition Hotel. Get ready for modern British cuisine, with a classy spin. Make sure to try their North African spiced Colorado lamb (with yogurt, smoked eggplant, and young curried onions) or their Native lobster (with shaved fennel, mussel and apple salad)!

8. Gardenia

Jorge Guzman, Chef Mario Hernandez, and Cesar Moreno have just opened Gardenia in the West Village! Gardenia specializes in Latin Mediterranean cuisine, with European influences. They use in season ingredients to help bring together flavors and cultures in a new way! Make sure to try their Grilled Octopus (with anticuchera romesco, fingerling potatoes, and botija aioli) or their Risotto (with yerba mate braised short ribs, wild mushroom ragout, and mushroom cappuccino).
