    The 21 Stages Of Giving Up Chocolate For Lent

    The trials and torments we go through every year..

    1. Deciding you are going to do it.

    2. Informing others of your terrible life choice

    3. Realising you need to eat some while you still can

    4. Buying, and then eating, ALL the chocolate

    5. You've eaten a bit too quickly, you need a break.

    6. But there's NO time for a break you need to power through.

    7. It's 23.30 on Shrove Tuesday and you're in a food coma, but you've finished it all.

    8. It begins.

    9. It's harder than you thought it would be.

    10. Nope. On the third day someone offers you a piece of their chocolate.

    11. 1 week in.

    12. Feeling proud and super fit, it's a new you!

    13. But then it hits you..

    14. But you manage to resist temptations

    15. The next two weeks go smoothly

    16. But then BAM! Your best friend has a chocolate birthday cake

    17. Friendship over, you begin to countdown the days

    18. You are SO CLOSE

    19. 3 days to go and your friends are helping you through

    20. ONE DAY MORE
