Santiago S. Mora (1995) is a visual artist born in Guadalajara.

Restless artist and dreamer. A man of a sensitive heart with a desire for freedom. Deep minded, curious. It goes in search of the aesthetic. Intelligent, creative, seeks to break the visual standard. Despite the warm colors found in some of these, a cold, disconcerting sensation is perceived. This may be because of within them relies a narrative about loneliness and melancholy which is very present. Freedom frustrated desires, unfulfilled dreams, sadness, tears … .and yet compositions with: animals, colors, women and trees. A sea with different currents and different temperatures that move the heart of the viewer from one place to another. Santiago says he finds it hard to explain his work, it certainly is because when he paints he is based on the sensitivity, his guide goes beyond rationality, something ineffable. Something ineffable expressed through color and form. And this is evident, the sensible speech of color is always present, the configuration of the elements within the canvas talk to us from another language, pinch us, cause bewilderment. He talks about seas and the different currents that are deep in the soul.
