An English Teacher And Pikachu Go On Adventures

Matt is an English teacher who travels with a Pikachu and takes photos of their adventures.

He's an English teacher from Manchester, who's been teaching and travelling around for the last few years.

A few years ago, when he was working as a summer camp counsellor, some of the kids at the camp decided to put together their savings and buy him a farewell gift, to mark time spent playing Nintendo together.

The gift was this Pikachu, who's been travelling around with Matt ever since.

Here is Pikachu checking out a waterfall in the mountains of Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

Another waterfall he highly recommends is at Erawan National Park, Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

Here he is enjoying a cup of tea in Nagarkot, Nepal, with the Himalayas in the background.

Pikachu has also seen the Annapurna range from Pokhara, Nepal.

He's also checked out Poland.

And here he is on a Chinese junk boat in Hong Kong.

Pikachu has met a Grumpy Cat lookalike on his journeys.

And he's tried out some hearty Thai street food.

Apart from that boat, Pikachu's been on lots of planes...

...trains...

...And even on a motorcycle.

Most importantly, Pikachu sometimes helps Matt on his day job.

This can be challenging.

Sometimes, Pikachu tells students about his travels.

Sometimes, he shows us how to make (and enjoy) pancakes.

At times, he is the subject of student art.

Of course, there's still a lot of the world left to see for these two.
