Last night, in one of the biggest TV events of the year, Hrithik Roshan finally opened up about his alleged affair with Kangana Ranaut on The Nation Wants To Know with Arnab Goswami.
The intense two-hour interview was packed with some amazing moments. Here's everything you missed:
1. By far, the most shocking thing about the interview was that Arnab actually let Hrithik speak and finish entire thoughts without butting in.
2. Another noticeable aspect was that Hrithik didn't take Kangana's name once in relation to the accusations throughout the entire interview.
3. Arnab called Hrithik "foolish" for not going public with his side of the story when rumours of his engagement to Kangana first started spreading in 2014...
4. A taunt that Hrithik dealt with admirably enough.
5. In fact, Hrithik seemed well-prepared for any cross-questions Arnab could throw at him.
6. A sizeable chunk of the interview was devoted to the "3000-4000" emails that Hrithik allegedly received from Kangana over the course of a few months.
7. One particularly unexpected exchange involved Hrithik bitching about his Apple devices.
(It might sound like he's just tech-challenged, but turns out that he's right. You can mark mails from any address as spam, but not outright reject a person from sending you one.)
8. By far, the most hilarious moment of the interview came when Arnab struggled hard to read out a mail that Kangana had allegedly sent to Hrithik, written in Hindi.
9. One thing Hrithik kept insisting on was that there was no reason for anyone to trust his side of the story either, and that they should make judgements just based on the hard proof.
10. When asked if he had a message for Kangana, he chose not to do it on the show.
11. At the end of the night, Hrithik did manage to convince some people to come over to his side.
