I'm Going To Give You An Unusual K-Pop Group Name, Just Simply Tell Me If It's Real Or Not

The oddly-named group has been inactive since 2019, when most of its members departed after their contracts expired. Perhaps, they can come back bigger and better than ever… with a new name, that is!

It's real!

Not a real K-pop group, but wouldn’t it be D3Light-ful if it was?

It's fake.

This band actually had a different name – JJY Band, but that was changed after their original frontman left in 2016. Did we also mention one of their members’ stage name is Dammit?

The second-generation rock trio only stuck around for a few years before calling it quits in 2016. Unsurprisingly, their name was somewhat of a tribute to one of their legendary role models — Led Zeppelin.

Seems this strange name really is legit! The hip hop group formed in 2013 and has released four studio albums. Member names include Authentic, Jellyfish, and Cocky.

Not a real K-pop group. We imagine a group by this name wouldn’t bring any peace to K-pop fans…

Not up to par with the similarly-named Pussycat Dolls, but this girl group did manage to cause quite a stir. Introduced as an overweight group with strong vocals, the original members were forced to lose a combined 52 kg before ultimately being replaced!

Do we have any idea what the word Purfles means? Not really, but that didn’t stop their company from bestowing the pop trio with this peculiar moniker! They are presumably disbanded due to inactivity on their social media since 2016.

Not a real K-pop group. In fact, we’d think many K-pop fans would like to royally flush this name idea down the drain!

_Technically_, it’s fake — well, it’s at least not a K-pop group. However, it is the name of a side project by Cody Muraro, current vocalist of the American pop-punk band Real Friends!

Hey, we understand! With so many strange names out there, it's hard to keep track of the real ones. Better luck next time!
