First up, we had Steven and Jen, who've been dating for four years. You'd think Steve would be a pro at Jen's makeup by now.

Safiya and Tyler also gave it a go. They've been dating for 1.5 years, which is enough time to know your partners taste and preferences.

Freddie and Paul also got in on the challenge. They've been dating for six months, which in Los Angeles is basically a lifetime.

Jen was pretty confident that her stuff would be obvious.

While Saf was very understanding that it was likely Tyler would fail.

To make things extra challenging we threw in a rando bag. Let the guessing games begin!

We were one step ahead of the dudes, who were, "gonna rely pretty heavily on the bag itself."

Steve seemed to think that Jen doesn't spend a ton of time on her everyday makeup.

Tyler was into brand names. He knew Saf was raving about Kylie Jenner's lip products.

And Paul knew that Freddie does not love every color in the rainbow equally.

Steven relied on his basic instincts…it was kinda like he had a sixth sense for sniffing out Jen’s makeup.

Things got realll tricky when Tyler and Paul narrowed it down to either Saf's or Fred's makeup bags. Turns out BFFs really do have ALL the same interests.

It was close...but in the end...

    ...THEY ALL GOT IT RIGHT!

And Tyler broke his streak of "failing at BuzzFeed competitions."

Not gonna lie, I'm super impressed. All three gentleman were actually invested in their girlfriends' product preferences and beauty habits, and it showed through their thoughtful guessing.

This video also served as a healthy reminder that I'm forever alone.
