9 Things That Would Happen To PSU Greek Life If The Drinking Age Was Lowered
Drinking is a huge part of our culture here at Penn State, especially if you're in a frat or a sorority. The majority of Greek Life is under 21 years of age, AKA isn't allowed to legally drink. However, this stops no one. The parties still go on and drinks are still poured, no questions asked. It may be dangerous, but there are so many loopholes that underage drinking will probably never be put to an end. But what would happen if the drinking age was lowered to 18 and the majority of Greek Life was actually legal? How would this change our culture? There would be some major (and some minor) changes to our behavior; these changes would be very beneficial to our society, making us students safer and more responsible.
