Elon Musk Just Dropped A Rap Single About Harambe And No, It's Not An April Fool's Joke

Because we exist in 2019, the ode to the late gorilla is very, very real

Today, Elon Musk inexplicably released a rap track called "R.I.P. Harambe"

Harambe was one of the most memed figures of 2016

Seriously, Harambe was everywhere in 2016

The frenzy lasted for months, until we all started eating Tide Pods.

Fast forward three years--after all the Tide Pods had been consumed and "damn Daniel" was uttered no more--Musk decided that April Fool's Eve 2019 was the time to pay tribute to the lost-but-never-forgotten Harambe

He dropped the single via "Emo G Records," a fictitious label designed to sound like "emoji"

While it might sound like a premature April Fool's joke, the song is real

Tbh, the past few years have felt like one giant, non-stop April Fool's prank

The autotuned lyrics are as follows: "RIP Harambe/Sipping on some Bombay/We on our way to heaven amen, amen/ RIP Harambe/ Smoking on some stronger in Gorilla Zoo/ And we thinking about you"

    Everyone's pretty confused about it

@elonmusk I actually can’t tell if this is real or not

One thing is clear: Elon Musk is straight-up trolling

While others have put in requests for Musk to sing about more memes

@elonmusk elon musk now make a song about dat boi

No matter the motivation behind Musk's rap, there's never a bad time to remember our fallen angel, Harambe
