    Anyway, we reported how Taylor changed one of the lyrics in "Better Than Revenge." The original lyrics were, "She's not a saint, and she's not what you think / She's an actress, whoa / She's better known for the things that she does on the mattress."

    Then she changed the mattress line to "He was a moth to the flame / She was holding the matches."

    Everyone talked about that change because it was so overt. But there was actually an additional lyric change that no one noticed.

    In the background vocals toward the end of the track, Taylor originally sang, "You know that she deserved this." But in the updated version — as TikTok user @tylrswf pointed out — Taylor sang, "You know that YOU deserved this."

    It makes sense Taylor updated these lyrics, so as to not blame the woman in the song.
