TikTok drama — yup, it's a thing. And I hope you're ready for it.
If you're on TikTok, you know Addison Rae. She's a dancer, who makes really exaggerated, extra faces during her Toks.
And Charli D'Amelio is super famous now because she's a TikTok dancer with the most followers on the app (62.8 million!).
Now, Addison has been caught by fans liking shady comments about Charli from a year ago, which say Charli shouldn't be verified, that she isn't the "prettiest girl," and other rude statements.
The D’amelio sisters have apparently cut ties with Addison Rae after it was exposed that Addison used to like comments comparing herself to Charli Pt1 (Creds to @/tiktokroom on Instagram)
Addison has now admitted to liking comments that shaded Charli and addressed the situation:
"I didn't know her and hadn't met her. This is no excuse, but I will say, I had just gotten out of an extremely toxic and mentally abusive relationship that tore my heart to shreds," she said.
"I was fully depressed and hated myself. I thought I was worthless without him, after five years of being together. I searched for compliments and love from others because I couldn't love myself without him," she explained.
"It's so gross and make me really sad to think about to this day. But, I do know that I've loved Charli since the day I met her. I've already told her that she doesn't need to forgive me, but I will say I was insanely desperate for love at that point in my life and that was what I had."
"I love and know Charli, and will love and support her no matter what," she concluded.
Charli has not responded directly, but she posted this video about haters, which could say a lot. Eyes emoji.
