Some Underrated Disney Movies

With all the hype surrounding Frozen, I decided to list some underrated disney films.

The Black Cauldron

Based (however loosely) on the book by Lloyd Alexander. This is a fun adventure with tones that echo the book series, and Jordan's The Wheel of Time. However, if you want an even greater experience read the book series: The Chronicles of Prydain, starting with The Book of Three.

Brother Bear

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Besides the incredible cast (Michael J. Fox, James Garner, Leonard Nimoy, Jim Varney and more) this is a fun, adventure film in the spirit of Indiana Jones and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Hunchback of Notre Dame

Arguably the darkest of the animated films, this features Tom Hulce (of Amadeus fame) voicing the titular character. Great music, and a heart warming ending are great, though the source material is much better.
