I love my iPhone. If you ask anyone who knows me, they'll tell you I'm constantly on it. When I'm not just checking my Instagram feed or tweeting, I check to see what's going on around me. Here are my three favorite apps when I want breaking news and current events.
WNYC
I love WNYC. I have it on constantly when I'm at home and commuting on the subway. They always have great stories and series. My current favorite is "There Goes The Neighborhood" where they discuss what's going on in Brooklyn.
E! News
I feel like I'm always on E! since I'm keeping up with the Kardashians at all times and the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills! I love this app because I get constant push notifications on what's going on in pop culture.
Reuters TV
I never watch the news because I don't find it convenient, but Reuters changed that for me. I love how you can get quick news updates by selecting how long you want the news to be like 5 mins to 30 mins.
