WHERE I AM AT THIS POINT:

Whenever I see something problematic, or with any social justice issues, I pick and choose my battles. It's not my responsibility to educate privileged folks about their problematic ways of thinking.

However, when I saw this twitter post, I couldn't stay complacent.

It's wrong to trivialize a culture.

It's wrong to perpetuate racism, and these peeps needed to know WHY it was wrong.

I encourage everyone to be thoughtful about using things from other cultures, to understand the context and learn the best ways to show respect.
