Take Three Minutes From Your Miserable Day To Watch Adam Goodes Host "Play School"

Should be a full time gig tbh.

He's a former Australian of the Year, an AFL premiership-winning legend and two-time Brownlow medallist for the best player in the league, but Adam Goodes has finally achieved the greatest Australian honour: host of classic kids TV show, Play School.

Goodes, along with Slush the pig, read everyone's favourite book about counting Aussie animals in their backyard, Counting Aussie Animals In My Backyard. Check out his mad kookaburra skills. (For the record, there were two kookaburras.)

Goodes starred in the three-minute segment as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations, and we reckon he nailed it. He even sledged cockatoos.

Goodes isn't the only celebrity hosting the classic kids show. Leigh Sales, Annabel Crabb, Dami Im and Delta Goodrem have all had a crack, but none of them have got anything on Goodesy.

Here he is batting away at some imaginary mozzies.

And we don't want to read too much into this last comment, but we reckon Goodes could make this a full-time gig.
