PHOTOGRAPHER HUNTER CANNING UNVEILS #THESUBWAYSERIES IN FIRST SOLO SHOW

Actor and photographer Hunter Canning presents his first solo show, #THESUBWAYSERIES now through October 31st at the The Sheen Center Gallery (18 Bleeker Street in NYC), curated by Nick Leavens and Robert James Anderson. The series, part of a larger oeuvre that encompasses figure studies, surrealist landscape collages and video installation features candid photographs of New York City residents riding the subway. Shot alternately on a Canon DSLR and an iPhone, the images focus on sideway glances, dead stares and obscured faces, all done without the knowledge of the subjects.
