The REAL Reason Georgia Is Dominating College Football This Year
During a teaching stint at a monastery in India, a Georgia professor trained 91 Buddhist monks to do UGA's “calling the dawgs” cheer, in hopes of boosting the team's bid for a national championship this year. Dr. Christopher Brandon of Georgia Gwinnett College traveled to Karnataka, India this summer to teach on behalf of the Emory-Tibet Science Initiative (ETSI). This program works with Tibetan monasteries to advance the “convergence of science and spirituality.” Dr. Brandon supplemented his science classes for the monks with a taste of college football fandom.
