Depression and suicide are never easy topics to discuss. In an effort to help others struggling with self-harm, four individuals openly shared their experiences surviving suicide. Here are their stories:
When depression or any mental illness hits you, it can hit you harder than you would have ever thought, and can be triggered by anything from assault to bullying.
It sometimes feels like there isn't anyone to talk to or wants to listen to you, but that isn't the case.
There is always someone there who wants to hear you or feels what you might be going through...
...Because in the end, you are worthy of putting up a fight, and winning that fight, and you aren't alone.
Just know that "you are worth life" and there are more people than you think here to listen, help, and share. Just keep going even if it's a minute at a time.
