I am an avid bookworm and an avid railfan, as well as being a fan of transport in general. I also happen to be deaf/ hard of hearing. Because of that disability, some things about me might seem strange (I talk loudly, I don't hear consonants, I have a weird accent, etc., I don't hear most of what other people are saying). I don't know very much sign language (my language has always been English, particularly written English), but I do make an effort to read lips (and it helps if people speak more slowly than usual, but not too slowly). I am not that big a fan of board games, mostly because they often require verbal communication. And, yes, I am looking for women in the NJ area, especially if they are willing to put up with all of that.
