I have a blue spot on my lip. I've had it for as long as I can remember, and a doctor once told me he thought it was a "veinous" lake, which I thought sounded nice and exotic enough for a girl like me. But I prefer to think of it as the mark of my people, who will someday return to collect me. It gets darker when I've exerted myself (yes, I know, my own hyper-color feature!), so I assume that's how they'll find me. Until then, if you've seen someone else with one of these spots, please point them in my direction. They could be my ticket home.
