The Average Day For An Eight Year Old Girl Living In The Early 2000's

You know, just a typical day growing up in the early 2000's.

It’s 7 A.M! Time to wake and get ready for school!

You’re totes going to wear that bubble shirt your mom got you from Limited Too because let’s face it, it’s adorable.

Wait! Can't forget your slap bracelet!

You’re in a rush so you grab a bowl of French Toast Crunch. Nom! Nom! Nom!

    Bus is here! Gotta go!

You sit in the back of the bus because that’s where all the cool kids sit and rock out to “Oops I did it Again” and “Bye Bye Bye” on your Walkman.

You get off the bus with your light up sketchers. You're kind of a badass.

The bell rings! It’s time for class!

You take out your super colorful Lisa Frank notebook and milky pens to take notes.

You start your day with Multiplication tables and wonder whenever in your life you’ll need to know what 12 x 4 is.

You never liked P.E. class but you were always down for a game of Capture the Flag

But then it starts to rain so you go inside to play Heads up 7 up instead.

You watch the Magic School Bus during science and it’s awesome!

Your best friend looks at you with jealousy.

After lunch, it's silent reading time. Everyone is reading James and the Giant Peach

    Ramona

    or Charlottes Web

When it’s time for Social Studies, your teacher makes it sound like Christopher Columbus was basically the coolest person ever but you're all like "wtf?!"

You go to music class and sing “This Land is Your Land” for the billionth time except this time you learn it on the recorder.

Those last 20 minutes of staring at the clock paid off! School's over for the day!

When you get home, you watch your favorite TV show, Pokemon!

And then you get frustrated when you guess the wrong Pokemon. What's a clefairy anyway?
