8 Reasons Seattle is a Bacon Lover’s Secret Paradise

1. A Seattleite’s burger can have no less bacon than this. The infamous stack-o-bacon is from favorite local joint Red Mill Burgers.

2. Seattle is the home of Bakon Vodka . Honestly, if you don’t start your day with a Bakon Mary on National Bacon Day, can you really call yourself a bacon lover? No.

3. You know all of your favorite bacon-flavored accoutrements like Bacon Salt, Baconnaise and Bacon Lip Balm? Yeah, those are from a Seattle company, too.

4. Bacon + baked goods? Seattle could battle it out for top pig in that category with tasty treats like the Whiskey Maple Bacon Cupcake and Bacon Pecan Brittle.

5. Candied bacon happens a lot in Seattle.

6. Sometimes bacon from the skillet just isn’t enough grease. That’s why Seattle has Beer Batter Bacon.

7. Bacon from just any old grocery store? Um, no. Seattleites must have only the finest bacon available.

8. And last but not least, no one does a Danger Dog (a.k.a. the most wonderful drunk food, wrapped up in bacon goodness thing around) like Seattle.
