12 Animals That Only The Capitol Could Have Created

The Hunger Games universe is full of crazy animals. We all remember Tracker jackers and of course Mockinjays, then there are those scary bear-dogs from the first movie. What you may not know is that there are animals in the real world that could have easily been created by the Capitol.

1. The Angora Rabbit

Much like Effie and her wigs, only the Capitol could concoct an animal this fabulous.

2. The Komondor Dog

Again, the Capitol is no stranger to crazy hair. This dog would be all the rage!

3. The Emporor Tamarin

While I do not believe President Snow would allow there to be anything with the title "Emperor" in the Capitol, this bearded monkey would certainly have his place.

4. The Markhor

Extravagant headpieces are a fashion MUST in the Capitol!

5. The Aye-Aye

Creepy and cute, but mostly creepy. The Aye-Aye is certainly something straight out the terrible minds of the Capitol.

6. The Grolar Bear

Leave it to the Capitol to not be satisfied with just a grizzly or a polar bear. Enter the grolar bear, a weird mix that just confuses nature.

7. The Frill-Necked Lizard

Frills are a must when living in the Capitol. It would only be fitting that their animals followed suit.

8. The Star-Nosed Mole

Moles just aren't fancy enough for the Capitol; they would obviously need to get work done to fit in. Enter the star nose!

9. The Savannah Cat

Why have a cat of normal size and color when you can have a miniature cheetah in the comfort of your home. The Capitol is all about decadence, after all.

10. The Tarsier

Terrifying and whimsical, the tarsier just screams "Capitol creation".

11. The Yeti Crab

Because in the Capitol even their dinner must be well dressed in the finest furs.

12. The Zorse

Riding a horse around is already quite the regal way to travel. Add some beautiful stripes to that horse and you've got the recipe for a Capitol worthy commute.
