    Regenerative Medicine Is Not Regeneration?

Regenerative Medicine and regeneration is not the same. Nowadays investors and interest groups in the field of biotech are all aggressive on putting their hope on something or project that sounds futuristic such as human can regenerate after injury just like invertebrate. When people look for the path of investment, they found hundred and hundred of biotech company marketing by the word "regenerative medicine." Unfortunately, regenerative medicine did not meant what the term portraying. Sometime even scientists and researchers also get confuse with the terminology. Frankly, regenerative medicine does not mean a medicine that regenerate your organ or tissue. In reality, regenerative medicine means something alternative. When people observe physiological regeneration happened in nature among lower grade organism, they come up with a demand to achieve physiological regeneration in human. Unfortunately, they didnt have enough understanding in regeneration process so they tend to mimic the observed process and already known knowledge of regeneration to develop new drug and medicine. Therefore, regenerative medicine can be explained as a medicine that tend to mimic the natural process of regeneration but not the same as the natural regeneration process. The key difference between regeneration and regenerative medicine is the biological activity conductor. Regeneration is a self-demonstrate and orchestrated process whereas regenerative medicine is rely on artificial commanding and initiation.
