Make sure your appliances are clean and working properly, because there's absolutely nothing worse than having to run the dryer twice.
Promising review: “Works extremely well. We haven't done any cleaning on our dishwasher in five years: the sliding dish trays were tough to pull out or push in, there was detergent build up all over the inside, and there was a milky film on all our cups. I bought Affresh, ran the dishwasher with two tablets while it was empty, and the difference was astounding. Now it looks and sounds brand new. No more film on the glasses, no more dirty dishes from clogged sprayers, no more odors, or build up around the door seals. I'm going to be buying Affresh from now on, and hopefully it will extend the life of my dishwasher.” —Martoune

Promising review: “In order to appropriately praise this product, I must admit to my oven cleaning ignorance. I have never cleaned an oven. I have used mine for six years and had a random thought that I should probably clean the inside like I do the outside. Whoops! I knew it would be a tough job so I ordered two cans of this. Mistake. This product worked so well, I used maybe a third of the can. One overnight soak and everything that has been accumulating since I moved in wiped right off with paper towels. The scour pads I bought were completely unnecessary. The paper towels came away black and gunky until there was nothing left to wipe away. So, in short, one can and half a roll of paper towels will suffice.” —Judi

Promising review: “Bought a new glass-top electric stove. Friend's daughter stayed over and was the first person to use it — and left baked-on grease. I was sooo bummed, I never even used the stove all it was all gunked up. I tried carefully scraping and using gentle cleaner and it simply wouldn't come off. Saw this on Amazon, went for the kit because I really wanted it to work, and WOW, worth every penny. My new stove looks new again, with very little work! A very tiny amount of cleaner does the whole cooktop, so the bottle will last a long time. I'm very satisfied with this product.” —ellenfromthebronx

Promising review: “I've been having AC troubles in the top floor of my three story home, and a recent AC guy pointed out that my outside condenser unit coils were completely choked up with dirt/debris. He generously offered to clean it for $185, because it required 'very expensive chemicals.' About 15 seconds on Google suggested that I could do this myself — so two cans of this spray and a few minutes of my time and the coils that looked like solid fuzz/mud/gunk actually show metal again!” —K. Promising review: “Washer started smelling a bit funky several months after we got it. I didn't understand why I couldn't just run bleach in my machine to clean it out occasionally, until I actually ran one of these tablets. The key is that the tablet goes in the washer drum, and doesn't dissolve right away. So as the washer runs through several repeated cycles of fill, agitate, and drain — the tablet is still there, sudsing up the water on cycle #2 and #3. If you just put bleach in the soap dispenser, it would all be gone after cycle #1. Also, this gets very sudsy and that helps it reach some areas of the machine that wouldn't otherwise get touched.” —aberson

Promising review: “My stainless appliances had rusted because someone (probably my husband) used water to clean them. Every time I walked into my kitchen it made me sad to see the swirly rust marks on my refrigerator and dishwasher. I used the product as soon as I got it. I can’t believe the results. I had to use a good amount of elbow grease and I used the rough side of a non-scratch sponge. My appliances are like new again! This is a great product!” —Brianna H

Promising review: “I actually can't believe how well this stuff worked in getting the many years of soot off our chimney stones. I don't think the previous owners of our house had ever tried to clean it. Quick N Brite is gunky and I needed a bucket of water, a hard brush, a toothbrush for the in-between spaces, and a ton of paper towels, but it was so worth it! Can't wait to find more things to clean.” —Karen Angell

Promising review: “After seeing it say it only takes two minutes, I thought 'no way it will work.' Now I can literally hear how much easier the disposal spins. I can see the metal which used to be black. I'm in an apartment where it has probably never been cleaned. I didn't even know the second sink drain was white until this. It had a layer of brown gunk. Simply amazing, I'm shocked how well this stuff works.” —J. Peace

Promising review: “This little device is great. Super simple. Fill to the lines with vinegar and water, nuke for seven minutes, let sit two minutes, then wipe clean. My embarrassingly super gross microwave wiped completely clean with a couple paper towels. Highly recommend.” —UglyPetty

Promising review: “I was going to purchase a far more expensive duster for my ceiling fan but saw this instead. Worked great! Dusted easily, and got all the dust off! It even reached a high ceiling fan (probably 10 feet high?) with a short step stool. Love the way the handle is light and won't cramp you while you are dusting and how the head of the duster can move. I also like the way it is easily stored without taking up too much room.” —SYK

Promising review: “I'm obsessed with clean screens, and I have tried more than my share of products. I do think this is THE best, by far. The screen cleaner itself is totally effective — just spray on the soft included microfiber cloth and use on your screen. I saw great results on my big iMac screen, my iPad screen, my iPhone screen, my Apple Watch screen, and even my Kindle screen. By which I mean: no streaks, fast disappearance of all dust and those irksome little dots screens like to collect, and a pleasant smell to boot. The bottle is ample in size and I think it will be quite awhile before I need a refill. I also really love the included cloth. It is big enough, super soft, and very absorbent.” —Bearwife

Promising review: “Was actually shopping for a replacement for our office machine as it seemed to have given up the ghost when I came across this product. Hmmm — de-scaling that does not require me to do it after hours (since the hot vinegar smell is sure to drive our customers away) plus a Clean Cup to clean the brewing head. Figured it was worth a try. Started, as directed, with the Clean Cup even though our machine would hardly spit out a drop of water and I thought it would not work at all. Out gushed water with all kinds of gross stuff! Well, that's a good start. After finishing the fresh water part of the directions, put the de-scaling solution in. Am now thankfully, for a minimal investment, enjoying a full cup of coffee.” —Liz P

Promising review: “Works perfectly for scrubbing the stuck lint out of the insides of your dryer. Everyone who owns a dryer should have these, they're basic safety equipment. Clean that lint, and reduce the fire hazard and make the machine more efficient. They're long enough, strong enough, and just flexible enough without being too flexible.” —Winged Wolf
