Colin Hanks Made A Documentary And Proves He Loves Music Just As Much As You Do

He made a documentary about Tower Records and if you're old enough to know what that is then you know how awesome it was. If you're not old enough to know what Tower Records is then I sorta feel sorry for you.

You might only know Colin Hanks as that one dude from that one thing who has that famous dad, but Colin Hanks is a pretty cool guy. Here is proof.

I wish he'd release an entire album singing just like this. I'd illegally download that in a New York minute.

He was in Orange County, which is one of the greatest movies ever made.

Do you want me to get naked and start the revolution?

He was also Father Gil on Mad Men.

Perhaps you know him as Officer Gus Grimly on Fargo.

Now that I've (hopefully) turned you into a Colin Hanks fan we can talk about the documentary.

Tower Records was the ideal place for any music lover.

It was like Empire Records....only it was real.

    It was

Then along came digital music and well...

When our beloved record stores started to close it left some of us feeling a little sad and empty inside.

You don't have to be a fan of Tower Records to appreciate this film. You just need to be a fan of music.

All Things Must Pass isn't just a documentary about a record store. It's a documentary about the death of the record business itself.

I'm really excited to see this documentary and if you're a decent human being you should be excited too.

Fun Fact of the Day: Dave Grohl used to work at Tower Records.

In conclusion All Things Must Pass is a dream come true.
