    The Weekly Wrap, October 2nd

It was another great week of campaign stops across the county - from visiting pumpkin patches to highlighting just how sorely needed my Fair Share Plan, which cuts property taxes by equally distributing sales tax, is.

Luckily, the weather cooperated on Saturday and I, along with a whole team of volunteers, were able to go door to door in Lancaster. Responses at the door, and across the county, continue to be incredibly enthusiastic.

I also made a stop at a local favorite Fall tradition - the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence. My son, Jack, had to pick out the largest pumpkin! On Sunday, my family made another campaign stop with me at the Grand Island GOP Bills Party. The Grand Island Republican team will have much to celebrate on Election Night.

Monday, I stood outside the Huntley Plant in Tonawanda highlighting the need the Town of Tonawanda and Ken-Ton School District have for my Fair Share Plan. With the Huntley Plant closing, Tonawanda is slated to lose $2 million in property taxes and the Ken-Ton schools over $3 million. If Tonawanda residents received their fair share, it would help cover the loses of the plant closing. While I'm busy meeting with experts and proposing plans that will help taxpayers across this county, my opponent is silent. Being county executive is more than taking up space on the 16th floor of the Rath Building. It's about having a plan and a vision to raise all of Erie County to a new altitude. It's time for a new a county executive who has solutions.
