So stay inside and stay warm up with this snazzy mug.

Here's what you'll need:

* Coffee mug

* Painters tape

* Rubbing alcohol

* Alcohol ink

* Dishwasher-safe decoupage glue

* Paint brush

1. Tape off the rim of your coffee mug using painter's tape.

You don't wanna be drinking any ink.

2. Apply rubbing alcohol all over your mug with a clean paint brush, letting the mug stay a little bit wet.

This acts as a prime for the ink design.

3. Immediately after applying the alcohol, paint the ink on in any design you want.

You might have seen similar mugs made with nail polish, but alcohol ink ($10.25 for three colors) is a more permanent and easier-to-use option.

Keep in mind that the ink bleeds, so don't go for any patterns that are too ambitious. Gently blow on the ink to spread the color.

4. Let your design dry completely.

Give it at least an hour to be safe.

5. Paint on an even layer of dishwasher-safe decoupage glue ($7.39) to seal the deal.

Don't be afraid to apply a thick layer. Though it appears white at first, it will dry completely clear. We recommend applying two coats, waiting around 15 minutes for the first to dry.

6. Wash your mug before you use it.
